RED RICE PIDI KOZHUKATTAI / RED RICE RICE DUMPLINGS





INGREDIENTS :

Red rice flour (Homemade - fried and crushed rice - kaikuthal rice )- 2 cups
Jaggery syrup - 3 cups
Grated / Sliced coconut - 3/4 of the coconut
Ghee


METHOD OF PREPARATION:

1) Knead the flour with jaggery syrup and grated coconut to a soft dough.



2) Take small balls of it , roll it and press with hands.


3) Steam cook it in idly pan for 10 minutes. Remove from the flame and serve hot.

Serve hot .Linking it up with Show and Tell : FSF Janmastami by Vatsala .
