LEMON POHA


INGREDIENTS :

Poha
Lemon- 1
Curry and Coriander leaves
Channa dal - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Asafoetida - a pinch
Peanuts - 1 tsp
Red Chillies - 2
Mustard and Urat dal - 1 tsp each

METHOD OF PREPARATION :

1) Wash the aval and soak in water for 10 - 20 minutes. The water level should be just enough to immerse .

2) Add Lemon juice , turmeric powder , salt and asafoetida in it and mix well , the aval will absorb the spice.

3) Once done , heat oil for tadka . Splutter Mustard , Urat dal , Red chillies and Curry leaves with channa dal and peanuts . Nuts and dal must be roasted well not burnt.

4) Finally, mix aval to it and mix it up well . Garnish with Corinader leaves .
